Tuesday, February 5th, 2008worldarchitecturenews.com (WAN) officially launched on 29th September 2005 and is now the world's leading supplier of news to the global architectural community. In March 2007 WAN reached the prestigious Google no.1 position for "architecture news" and has remained in pole position since.
WAN has reached out to architects in over 210 countries, providing a fascinating insight into today's architecture in easy-to-read format as it happens, 24/7 – delivered to their desktops. The WAN website now serves three million page impressions per month
Updated in real time by architectural practices from around the world, WAN provides a unique framework for online information exchange.
Increasingly developers are now using WAN as a research tool to locate architects with specific experience and skills. The UK's largest developer, Land Securities regularly uses WAN to source architects.

Visiting India, Working holiday
Thursday, October 11th, 2007Are you an experienced web designer or web developer working for a blue chip in London or somewhere in the United Kingdom or USA ? If so, we would be keen to have you here for at least a month to spend time with our team here in Kerala – more of a working holiday. There are some fantastic (rustic, unexplored) weekend getaways waiting for you.
This is our standard quote (courtesy lonely planet) for customers from United Kingdom and USA who visit us once in a while.
"India will sideswipe you with its size, clamour and diversity – but if you enjoy delving into convoluted cosmologies and thrive on sensual overload, then it is one of the most intricate and rewarding dramas unfolding on earth, and you'll quickly develop an abiding passion for it.
Nothing in this country is ever quite predictable; the only thing to expect is the unexpected, which comes in many forms and will always want to sit next to you. India is a litmus test for many travellers – some are only too happy to leave, while others stay for a lifetime"
We have had some exciting times, taking our clients from United Kingdom (London and Brighton) and USA (Seattle) on day trips. Hindu weddings, temple rituals, wild life, wilderness treks, elephant ride, tiger spotting and ethnic shopping.
AIR,Silverlight and RIA
Friday, October 5th, 2007Been closely monitoring whats happening at FOWA 07 @ Excel, London.
Adobe VS Microsoft Silverlight
AIR is a cross O/S runtime that allows web application developers to use their existing web development skills such as HTML, JS,Flash,Flex, Ajax etc to build and deploy rich Internet applications (RIA) to the desktop
Conclusion :
Microsoft will build a better developer toolset, and provide a better story for tool integration. However their unwillingness to support MacOS, and their inability to truly understand creativity will be their drawback (Lets us see how MS Expressions work) . Adobe has a deep cultural understanding of the creative process, and experience with cross-platform support.
Website security
Thursday, September 20th, 2007Besides delivering projects on time, it is also our responsibility to make clients aware of the importance of website security. As we do lots of external web application QA testing for our clients in London, we take extra efforts to check and prevent JS and Sql injection, although the possibilities are low with the new and proven development frameworks. The passwords for client are captcha protected to avoid bot logins and admin logins go through a 15 day password change.
